The description of “Content” in this agreement includes texts, scripts, images, any material submitted to the Service, including all comments (the “Comments”) submitted by any User. Content includes both those materials submitted and the eventual final work published on mashstories.com (the “Work”).

Content. Any Content posted to the site, including but not limited to Projects, Works, or Comments, will be collected and stored, and will be manipulated or transferred when necessary, by Mash Stories. Importantly, as part of this, we may collect, store, manipulate, transfer, or use the metadata associated with any Content.
Newsletter Subscription. As a part of our newsletter subscription process, you must provide us with your email address. We collect, store, and use information arising out of this correspondence. Once you are subscribed, you’ll receive weekly newsletters to your email address. These emails may include web beacons or tags.
Improving Your Experience. We collect and analyse data about you in order to personalize and improve our Services. For instance, whether entered by you or imported from a third party, like Twitter or Facebook, we may collect, store, and use your personal information or contact lists. Similarly, we may collect, store, and use information about your web browser, IP Address, or location. As part of this, we may store your cookies, which allow us to understand when and how you use our Services. We also collect and analyse data about how you use our site. Mash Stories relies upon these third parties who collect, store, manipulate, transfer, disclose, and otherwise use data as provided for in their own privacy policies. We aim to work with third parties who protect and respect your privacy. However, we still encourage you to read their relevant policies.
Information collected from third parties. We collect, store, and otherwise use information collected from third parties. These may be third parties like Twitter, or iGive.com. While we do not collect or store your password from third-party service providers, we may receive or store tokens, which allow us to link your Mash Stories account with the third-party service provider. This enables us to better personalize our Services and more easily share information between us and them.
Information shared with third parties. We do not sell any of the information we collect to third parties. However, we may share information with third parties when that helps us analyse and improve our internal systems, services and technologies. We may also share information with our business partners and sponsors in order to promote you or your work.
User information is typically one of the transferred business assets. Therefore, we may buy or sell this asset, in situations that include acquisition, winding down, or bankruptcy. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that the acquirer of us or our assets may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
Responding to legal requests and preventing harm. We may share or disclose your information in order to comply with laws or to respond to lawful requests by individuals, other corporations, or governments. We may also do so to protect our own rights, property and safety, or that of our agents, users, or others.
User-generated sharing. We provide tools, such as Disqus Commenting Widget, with which Users can share content and interact with one other. Such tools may disclose your profile name to other when you use them.
Changing Your Profile Info, Deleting Content

Your Work published on mashstories.com cannot be deleted upon your request. We attain Non-Exclusive Rights for all Work submitted to Mash Stories Services and Websites as mentioned during the submission process on Submittable.com. Persons Under the Age of 13
We do not collect, store, or share information from persons under the age of 13. Users need to be ages 13 or older to use the Service. We do not collect information from persons under the age of the 13 and will delete such information if we become aware of it.
