Stefanie Sidortsova is a lawyer and writer whose flash fiction has graced the Mash Stories shortlist many times. Her first (and almost finished) novel, The Truth, was longlisted for the 2015 Bridport Prize Peggy Chapman-Andrews Award, and her poetry has appeared in the Red Eft Review.
Stefanie currently teaches Public Law and Environmental Law to graduate students in an online distance learning program. She began her legal career as a transactional attorney and has experience in environmental, financing, commercial real estate, and corporate matters. She also spent several years in government relations, lobbying state and federal lawmakers on issues related to health care reform.
Stefanie received her MSt in Creative Writing from the University of Cambridge, her JD from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, and her BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
