Chris regularly writes fiction, and reads whatever makes him keep turning the page. He enjoys short stories and healthy competition. He wants to create pieces that will make people laugh, smile, and be comfortable with who they are as a person because in the end, that’s all that matters.
Chris believes that writing is one of the most meditative, calming, and inspiring things that a person can do. He finds inspiration in his Cavachon – Marshall – and regularly pens pieces about the joys and difficulties of raising an ornery puppy. Chris has a business degree from Kent State University. In his free time he enjoys working out, taking his dog for a walk, and walking downtown for dinner and drinks with his wife, Kelly.
Chris joined the jury in 2015. He also serves as the Mash Club Coordinator.
