Patricia Zoltan is a writer and academic based in Adelaide, South Australia. Her short stories have recently appeared in Bukker Tillibul, on writersbillboard.net and Nailpolish Stories. Patricia was the winner of the Flash Fiction competition of Writers Billboard in March 2015.
A high distinction graduate of the Masters Program in Writing at Swinburne University, Melbourne, Patricia is currently working on her PhD by artefact and exegesis, also at Swinburne, exploring questions of identity, home and belonging. In addition to creative writing, Patricia has also studied literature, linguistics, TESOL, psychology, healing therapies and archetype analysis over the years and earned degrees and diplomas in these fields.
Enchanted by the short form, Patricia is preparing a collection of flash fiction and micro narratives for publication in addition to working on her novel.
A dedicated teacher and mentor, Patricia is also the Founder and Managing Editor of Tiny Bites, an online literary journal and international literary salon, dedicated to micro narratives, tinybites.net.
When she is not writing, Patricia loves cooking and baking for her family with the help of her lovely cat, Jessica.
She joined the Mash Stories jury in May 2015.
